Der dritte Courtcast kommt von Niklas aus Osnabrück.
Niklas habe ich kennengelernt als ich gerade frisch in Osnabrück gelandet bin und mich ein wenig über die lokale House- und Technoszene informiert habe.
Besonders positiv stachen mir dabei die eigenen Produktionen des 21-Jährigen ins Auge bzw. ins Ohr.
Mal flächig ambient, mal verspielt und doch auf den Punkt bewegen sich seine Tracks, welche er unter dem Namen Cass. veröffentlicht.
Aber auch an den Plattentellern beweist er ein gutes Gespür für Soundästhetik wie man diesem Mix entnehmen kann.

Sein Bliss Schleppstigg Remix für Coss ist vor Kurzem auf Haseland Schallplatten erschienen und gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingstracks zur Zeit.

this month´s courtcast is delivered by two fresh heads from the uncanny valley camp in dresden, here we go:

Felix & Jacob haben sich eigentlich über das Radeln kennen und mögen gelernt und irgendwann fiel ihnen auf dass sie auch die Liebe zur Musik teilen. Die ehemaligen Indiefaschisten und Rocknroller kamen dann über Bands wie Shitdisco und Klaxons zur elektronischen Musik, nahmen die zweite Rave Welle mit, wurden groß und machen jetzt auch Musik für Große Jungs und Mädels.
Seit Ende letzten Jahres tritt Jacob auch allein als Live Musikant auf und feilt ständig an seinem Set oder neuen Tracks, seit ihm eine Zweitplatzierung zum Laptopbattle Dresden (was übrigens sein erstes Live Set vor Publikum war) die Bestätigung gab dass seine produzierten Tracks ganz schön fetzen. Demnächst wird man auch seinen Track “S51” auf der nächsten Uncanny Valley Compilation finden.
Mit Platten spielen sie trotzdem noch sehr gern zusammen, da aber mittlerweile leider ziemlich genau 200km zwischen den Wohnorten liegen gibt’s die beiden auch Solo zu hören.
